Hey There, Read Me!

Burn Fitness Studio was created to give space to those who want to work out in an inclusive community environment. No matter what age, race, gender, or physical ability, our job is to make you feel good while helping you reach your fitness goals. Working out should be fun and stress relieving, not confusing and overwhelming!

Our small group classes allow our instructors to give you personalized feedback and encouragement to give you the empowerment you need to push yourself.

Policies, Rules, and Responsibilities

Assumption Of Risk

I am fully aware and understand that exercise and training activities come with potential risks. These activities may result in injury, aggravation of pre-existing conditions, and in extreme cases, even death. I also acknowledge that the effects of exercise on the body cannot be accurately predicted, and there is a chance of injuries occurring during or after exercise that may have adverse effects on my health. These effects may include but are not limited to high blood pressure, increased heart rate, altered heart function, and, in rare instances, cardiac complications. 

 

By participating voluntarily in these activities, I acknowledge that I am doing so with full knowledge and understanding of the potential dangers. I understand that it is crucial to undergo a comprehensive medical examination and consult with a physician before attending any group or private fitness class. It is necessary to determine which physical activities, exercises, training, and programs, if any, are recommended by my personal doctor. 

 

I confirm that I have either received a physical examination in the last month and have been advised of recommended activities, or I am willingly assuming all responsibility and liability for using the Burn Fitness Studio facilities and participating in its programs. Additionally, I have read and been informed of the following warning and notification:

 

"If you are currently under a physician's care for an injury, condition, or illness, Burn Fitness Studio strongly urges you to consult your physician before conducting any exercises or participating in any program at Burn Fitness Studio."

COVID-19

The World Health Organization has declared the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) a worldwide pandemic. Due to its capacity to transmit from person to person through respiratory droplets, the government has set recommendations, guidelines, and some prohibitions to which Burn Fitness Studio (the "Organization") adheres to comply.

  • I am aware of the existence of risk on my physical appearance at the venue and my participation in the activity of the Organization that may cause injury or illness such as but not limited to Influenza, MRSA, or COVID-19 that may lead to paralysis or death.

  • I have not experienced symptoms of fever, fatigue, difficulty in breathing, or dry cough or exhibited any other symptoms relating to COVID-19 or any communicable disease within the last 14 days.

  • I have not, nor any member(s) of my household, traveled by sea or by air, internationally within the past 30 days.

  • I did not, nor any member of my household, visit any area within the United States that was reported to be highly affected by COVID-19, in the last 30 days.

  • I have not been, nor any member(s) of my household, diagnosed to be infected with the COVID-19 virus within the last 30 days.

 

Following the pronouncements above I hereby declare the following:

  • I am fully and personally responsible for my safety and actions while and during my participation and I recognize that I may be in any case at risk of contracting COVID-19.

  • With full knowledge of the risks involved, I hereby release, waive, discharge the Organization, its board, officers, independent contractors, affiliates, employees, representatives, successors, and assigns from any liabilities, claims, demands, actions, and causes of action whatsoever, directly or indirectly arising out of or related to any loss, damage, injury, or death, that may be sustained by me related to COVID-19 while participating in any activity while in, on, or around the premises or while using the facilities that may lead to unintentional exposure or harm due to COVID-19.

  • I agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Organization from and against any costs, expenses, damages, lawsuits, and/or liabilities or claims arising whether directly or indirectly from or related to any claims made by or against any of the released party due to injury, loss, or death from or related to COVID-19.

 

COVID-19 Studio protocol

 

  • Burn Fitness Studio will offer in-person classes, when allowed by state orders, by appointment only, walk in’s will not be permitted until further notice

  • Clients must adhere to all rules and regulations set by the Studio regarding COVID-19 including, the requirement of face coverings

  • Clients unable to follow proper COVID-19 protocol enforced by Burn Fitness Studio will be asked to leave, and no refunds will be offered

Sales And Discounts

​

Sales

  • Sales of all class passes, memberships, event tickets, and apparel are all final sales 

  • Classes passes, and memberships are non-transferable and may only be used by one (1) client

 

Discounts

 

  • Discounts, coupons, and/or sales may not be combined and are void after one use or until the stated end date of said sale

  • Discounts, coupons, and/or sales on passes, memberships, and apparel will not be honored after their respective expiration dates. It is the responsibility of the client to keep up with the latest Studio deals by arriving on time to their scheduled classes, checking Studio emails, and following Studio social media

  • Discounts prices on memberships and passes are only valid for the duration of the pass or membership

Class Passes and Memberships

 

Passes

  • Passes are valid from 45 to 75 days upon date of purchase or date of Groupon* redemption depending on pass type

*As per Groupon’s policies, passes must be redeemed within 90 days from the date of purchase. After redemption, passes are then valid for the previously stated amount of days.

 

  • Groupon passes are limited to one (1) pass per client and can not be redeemed or refunded by the Studio if the client purchases more than one pass.

  • Discounted memberships and passes may not be purchased more than fourteen (14) days before the client’s current membership has expired or if the client has over six (6) classes left in their class pass

  • In the event that a pass-holding client would like to purchase a membership, the value of the remainder of the client's pass will be used as a credit towards a membership purchase

 

Limitations on Groupon Passes:

   - Clients are limited to one (1) Groupon pass per client.

   - The Studio cannot redeem or refund Groupon passes if a client purchases more than one pass.

 

Wait Lists

  • If an opening becomes available, you will receive an email to admit yourself into the class (please do not contact the Studio to ask if a spot has opened up, the scheduling system will immediately send the email)

  • Clients may attempt to sign up for the next available outdoor class. Single classes are valid for use up to one week.

Memberships

  • Membership payments are due on the 1st of every month, failure to pay in full will incur a late payment of $10 for each month of missed payment

 

  • After 2 months of failed membership payments, the amount will be sent to the First Credit Services collection agency

  • Clients with unpaid memberships may not participate in any classes until their balance is fulfilled

  • A request to cancel an existing membership may only be honored under the following conditions:

    • The client moves 15 miles from their current address

    • The client must provide a utility bill from their new address

    • The client must give thirty (30) days' notice as not to be charged for the following month

    • The client sustains a medical condition or injury

    • The client must provide a U.S. board-certified doctor’s note excusing them from physical activity

    • The client pays the off the balance of the remainder of the contract

  • A client may request a hold for a total of two (2) months for a fee of $20 per month. After the duration of the hold period, the membership will resume. The total amount of time of the hold will be added back to the membership.

Cancellations

  • It is the responsibility of the client to cancel their reservation for a scheduled class 4 hours before the start of the scheduled class

  • Canceling less than 4 hours before the start of class will incur a non-refundable $12. No Show fee for Class Pass holders or the loss of one (1) class from a Pass holder.

  • Cancellations must be done by the client by going to WellnessLiving.com or the Achieve app.

  • Cancellations may not be done by phone, text, email, or in person.

 

Attire

  • Clients must wear the proper closed toe athletic footwear during all classes with the exception of yoga

 

Check-ins

  • We kindly remind all clients of the importance of checking in for their scheduled classes. Please take note of the following guidelines:

Attendance Requirement

  •  It is the responsibility of each client to ensure that they check in for their scheduled classes.

  •  Failure to check in for a scheduled in-person class will result in a $12 No Show fee and the loss of one (1) class from the client's class pass.

Physical Presence Policy

  • Clients must be physically present in the studio in order to check in.

  • Any clients who are checked in but physically absent for the duration of the class will be subject to a $10 No Show fee and the loss of one (1) class from their class pass.

​

Timeliness

  • Clients should check in for their scheduled class promptly upon arrival at the studio.

  • Please note that check-ins will not be permitted after the class has ended.

​

  • We kindly request your cooperation in adhering to these check-in policies. They are in place to ensure the smooth running of our operations and to accommodate all clients effectively.
